Atty. Jijil Jimenez is a well regarded expert on Philippine Labor Laws, foreign relations and investments, as well as East Asian and Middle East affairs, having served with distinction in various capacities with the Philippine Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), as well as other government agencies. He is best known for his crucial role as crisis manager on the ground, in protecting and bringing home Overseas Filipino Workers in Baghdad in Iraq and Lebanon. Atty. Jimenez received two (2) Presidential Citations for his efforts in safeguarding OFWs in these Mid-East flashpoints.
