Atty. Cabasis obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Communication degree, Major in Journalism, at the University of the Philippines in Diliman. Thereafter, she proceeded to the San Beda College of Law, where she finished her Bachelor of Laws degree.

    Prior to joining the Firm, Atty. Cabasis proved her mettle in various leadership roles, starting at the State University, where she was an active figure in campus politics, serving as Chairperson of the College of Mass Communication Student Council in 1997 and as the Student Representative, Department of Journalism, College of Mass Communication Student Council. She also served as the Sangguniang Kabataan President and Ex-Officio member of the Sangguniang Bayan in Balayan, Batangas, from 1996 to 2002, where she distinguished herself as Chairperson of the Committee on Laws and Legal Matters.
 
Atty. Cabasis is an important addition to the Firm’s corporate, litigation and labor practice, with special training in handling the human resources needs of clients.
