Atty. Jaromay's extensive experience is at the core of the Firm's litigation practice, having handled numerous cases of national significance such as the toxic waste cases in Clark Air Base and Subic Bay, cases involving certain personalities in government, as well as prominent election cases that have reached the Supreme Court.
His court skills and litigation experience have been developed and sharpened by working in various public and private entities. He was, at one time, the Special Legal Counsel of the Presidential Commission on Good Government (PCGG), handling numerous ill-gotten wealth cases. He was likewise a Member/Prosecutor of the Special Prosecution Staff of the Office of the Deputy Ombudsman for the Military where he was instrumental in investigating, hearing and prosecuting criminal, civil and administrative cases against officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), the Philippine National Police (PNP), the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) as well as cases against civilian public officials as assigned by the Ombudsman.
His performance in government service did not go unnoticed. His citations include the Best Performance Award for Confidential Staff, Model Employee of the Year and the Outstanding Employee of the Office of the Deputy Ombudsman for the Military.
Atty. Jaromay also worked for the Peña Sanchez Lacson & Mison Law Offices and was previously a Lecturer of Political and Private and Public International Law at Saint Benedict College in Muntinlupa City.
He obtained his Bachelor of Laws and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (cum laude) degrees from the University of the Philippines, where he became a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and was a Most Outstanding Debater Awardee.
Apart from serving as corporate, tax and realty law advisor, Atty. Jaromay also sits as corporate secretary for several of the Firm's domestic and foreign corporate clients.
