Bar Matter No. 1628 Re: 2006 Bar Examinations
Sirs/Mesdames:
Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated JULY 11 2006. “Bar Matter No. 1628.- Re: 2006 Bar Examinations.- The Court Resolved to
(a) NOTE the separate Letters dated June 26, 2006 and July 6, 2006 of Atty. Ma. Cristina B. Layusa, Deputy Clerk of Court and Bar Confidant;
(b) APPROVE the request of Atty. Layusa for authority to
(i) conduct the 2006 Bar Examinations on September 3, 10, 17 and 24, 2006;
(ii) hold the said examinations at the De La Salle University in Taft Avenue, Manila; (iii) accept applications to take the 2006 Bar Examinations beginning on June 1, 2006 and ending on July 15, 2006, without any extension; and (iv) negotiate with the De La Salle University for the use of the latter's campus and facilities for the forthcoming Bar Examinations;
(c) APPROVE the Draft Memorandum of Agreement relative to the use of the campus and facilities of the De La Salle University, which Draft Memorandum of Agreement contains substantially the same terms and conditions as those of last year's Memorandum of Agreement except the following:
Date of Examinations - September 3, 10, 17 and 24, 2006.
Cost for the use of facilities on campus: (i) 95 classrooms, conference rooms, board room, Connon Hall, central plaza and other facilities 2005 Bar Examinations - P2,062,000.00 2006 Bar Examinations - P2,268,200.00 (ii) Additional classrooms (rate per day for each classroom) 2005 Bar Examinations - P4,500.00 2005 Bar Examinations - P4,950.00; and (d) AUTHORIZE Clerk of Court Ma. Luisa D. Villarama to sign the Memorandum of Agreement on behalf of the Court." Carpio, J,. on official business. |
